That's one question I can't answer. Those casting numbers are not in the parts books. I wish they were. Somebody on the forums has a non Ford book with engine info and I'd love to get a copy. It's tough to nail down years on some engines.

Sadly Ford didnt put a year stamp or info on its pre 62 engines.. But I con tell you that if its has stock PVC its atlest a 1961.. is it in a truck at all? if not that carb can give a closer ID on year of the engine as long as it is stock.. there is a year marking on them. ( go figure )
