oh damn... Its big, its bad, its lifted.
got it done on saturday, my friend jeff and i (and a couple other guys stopped by to help a for a few hours) pounded it out in 10 hours. so far i just got rims+tires (315/70r17 bf goodrich, they come out to 35x13 on 17" chrome Helos), the lift kit installed (7.5 Fabtech crossmember kit, same as busas) and just got it aligned today . I still need to get the differential regeared to a 4.10 (i woulda gone 4.56 but the truck mostly sees the fwy) i'm getting that done on wednesday. the truck is a daawwwwg right now, its got 3.08s right now. i'm so excited, i cant shut up about it.
its also got a billet grille, clear corners and a flowmaster 40 series catback w/ a turndown outlet right under the bed.
mmmm...trUk

dude your truck looks effin' sweet!
sorry i lagged on those tire prices, i got all my prices the day i said i would, i just never emailed you back!
anyhow, looks like you got a real nice setup! we should meet for a "photo shoot" sometime, i'm getting my mirrors/handles/bumper paint matched soon and some grilles, etc.
show the rest of these people what SD is made of....
(did that sound intimidating?)

thanks for the compliments guys dont worry about it manster, i doubt you coulda beat $160 per tire out the door, they're $210 at cost, i got em from a buddy's shop they're takeoffs (0 mi) off a new H2.
it handles just like stock, a little better actually with the wider tires. the front is just the slightest bit stiffer but otherwise it rocks
yeah i dont have 4wd i lifted it to be a street queen and do a little offroading in glamis this weekend. cant throw a 5.4, cali state emissions laws wont let u drop a bigger engine in than what you already got so i see a supercharger in the future for this truck
yeaah manster lets do a photo shoot, are you in the cali chapter on this forum? i hear they have meets, we should go and show off our hawt ****!

hey dude you are getting regeared tomorrow? Throw the 4.56's in, the sheer weight of your wheels probably kills your mpg anyhow.
i read somewhere else that from 3.55 to 4.10 shouldnt affect mpg too much or at all, and this is from people who drive 70-80mph regularly. That's just about hwy speed, right?
Plus your effective ratio changes since your rolling stock is about 5 inches bigger...so it's not like you're getting 4.56's on stock wheels...which would be funny
