draggin brakes
well, my friend has a 92 ford ranger 4.0, it has a lift and 31's but recently when we got the front end in the air to do some work, we noticed the brakes were dragging bad. it drags bad enough that it slows down going downhill when he lets off the gas. we need to fix ti cause we want to take it out to the desert and the brakes are draggin his mpg down, literally. any info will help were probably going to just bleed the brakes if we dont get any ideas and see if that helps.

Ken is correct on sticking calipers or slides. Don't bother to bleed the brakes until you have fixed the caliper problem. Also, driving the truck with dragging brakes is heating up the rotors immensely; this encourages the rotors to warp and cause a pulsating brake pedal. IE, a new problem.
