Premium stereo?

Premium stereo?
I have a factory premium cassette player that came out of a '96 Windstar that I want to put in my '93 F-150 in place of the factory AM/FM. I understand that the premium systems have a amp, which my F150 does not. The plugs for the speakers are completely different albeit power is fine. Can I just replace the stock wiring harness with one of a premium or do I need an amp?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the premium system?
