Personaly, I would save the cash and go "home-made tymar" a.k.a Kwikk Filter mod.... looks like this, cost 35 bucks, and took 15 min to build, Use (1) NAPA part # FIL6637, and then if the truck is pre-97 you might need a coupling and a piece of PVC like i did.... good luck
To be honest with you, it won't make a big difference unless you have a chip, upgraded injectors, or a bigger turbo. BUT! It will keep the dust from getting to your turbo, and the turbo sounds awsome!! maby a little faster spooling turbo but thats about it... since my rig only has a few low budget mods (listed in sig) it doesn't do to much, but it sounds good and gets a few cool points !!
will that napa filter work on my 03 F250?? looks good and would be a lot less than the K&N setup.
Yes it will!! And you won't need all that extra crap that I have on mine since yours is a superduty, just pick up the filter, and slip it on over your intake boot (snug fit) you may need a new clamp, get something heavy duty and remmember not to use any lube on the hose or filter to get it on there. Then Drive it like you stole it!!
i just zip-tied mine to the side of the finder well, on the newer trucks like ur 02 i think you could zip tie it near the master cylender if you wanted to, where ever is fine.
