I have a '95 f-150 4x4 with aod-e transmission that's acting up on me. These are some of the symptoms I am getting from it, but they don't happen all the time (check engine light comes on when they occur):
-Doesn't downshift
-Shifts through 1-2-3-4 quite fast
-It has shuttered really bad in 1st gear a few times, might be tc shudder but don't really know
-late shifting
The only thing I replaced is the abs/speed sensor and I also brought the truck to a transmission shop and they did a full diagnostics check. They told me that they couldn't get it into 2nd gear so they said it would most likely need to be rebuilt. So I drove it back home, it drove fine until about 3/4 of the way then the check engine light came on and it started acting funny.
If anyone knows what's going on here please let me know
