Fuel Injectors (identification)
I am considering swapping out my injectors in a 4.9 to the 19# infectors used in the 5.0 engine. I understand that the stock injectors in the 4.9 are 12# and the ones used in the 5.0 are 19# injectors. Are these injectors a different color or how are they identified? The ones that are in my 4.9 have kind of a light grey color where the wiring harness plugs in.I also understand that the fuel pressure must be reduced some when this conversion is made, How low does the fuel pressure have to be? Any information on this topic would be really appreciated.
