40-45 MPH spudder?
i have a 94 F150 with a 300.....lately i noticed when i was crusin though town about 40-45..if i wasnt accelerating or completely off of the gas...just kinda holding it there the truck would spudder...kinda like a clogged fuel filter or bad u joints...any ideas...anyone had this happen?

Check FPR / Fuel Filter
I had a similar problem in my 93 and it turned out to be my Fuel Pressure Regulator. My truck ran fine most of the time but had hesitation and sputter at certain speeds. The fuel filter was extremely clogged and that helped, but didn't cure the problem so spent a day troubleshooting the entire fuel system and it turned out to be the FPR - which was replaced for free by Ford due to a recall on it for that year truck. So you might check those two things to start with -

There is a solution
I went through the same thing at my dads shop when I replaced the fuel filter. He's got just about every tool known to man, but not the one needed for removing the forward clip on the filter. Eventually he got it off by bracing the filter on the frame rail and beating the crap out of it with a rubber mallot. It was later that day we discovered there is a special tool made specifically for the ford in-line fuel filters/fuel lines available at most auto-stores for 5 or 10 bucks. Hope this helps...

i really do appreaciate the help....but again tonight it did it again...i kinda think it is in the driveline....like u joints or some play in the output shaft in the tranny...if im in low and going about 2-4 mph...and just let off of the gas...the truck kinda starts to hop..like a crawl sortof...what could that be..?
