Not sure what you mean. On my truck it drops into overdrive at about 40 if I am using light throttle. If I back out enough on the throttle it will shift into fourth lower still.
It's a factor of load vs mph. If it goes into OD (with the TC locked up) too early it can be very hard on the components, and not good on driveability, as it will shudder and buck.
That said, with a tuner like the Diablo Preditor, you can lower your shift RPM at WOT, which makes it shift into gear a little bit lower in the whole range.
