On my 02 F250 I don't have any clicking or anything either with the remote or the door button. My auto headlights aren't working and my door ajar light also stays on all the time. I finally decided to take it to the dealer last week and the electrical guru checked it out and ordered a Vehicle Security Module. The dealer called and the module has come in so now I have to find the time to have it replaced and programmed. VSM...$100.00, Labor for installation and programming...$100.00. After seeing where the VSM is located, it'll be $100 well spent to have them replace it. It's located on the firewall behind the radio and heat/AC duct. I'll be so glad when this problem is fixed.
