Any one here have a after market wheel in their truck?
I just put in a grant tri bar wheel today and I really like it, easier to steer my truck since I put in bucket seats it was like a bus when the stocker was still in.
Ya Beast, I run the Grant Leather LeMans Polished 4 spoke....yes makes a big difference!!!! 14" with a 3 3/4 " dish.....I like it!! I think the stocker is like 17" and a 4 1/2" dish...Like Steering a Tug Boat!!! LOL!!
Right on Russ, I put in buckets and they sit a little lower than the bench, it was like being 80 years old, I was almost looking through the stocker, but the grant is awesome it's 13 1/2, I wouldn't go any smaller then that, It is great for one hand driving.
I think I'll end up taking the stock seat out of mine....its in cherry condition..but...it being Vinyl...Its slick..and with the heavy suspension in the *** end..Its hard to stay in the seat at times.... I think I'll pull a bench out of a mid 90s f150-f250 and have it redone in tweed...something with a center arm rest!
I'll get into that once I get my suspension the way I want it...So it doesnt ride like a buck board!!! LOL!!
