Benjamin Dover is a well known author and radio personality. I heard of a family , last name Droops, who named their son Wayne.

There was (honest to GOD!) an Interior Communications Tech on the USS John C. Stennis named something or other ****....

Well, he retired, and they had to announce it over the 1MC:

"IC2 ****, DEPARTING!!!"

On the USS Nimitz there was a popular man who got called for working parties a lot -

His last name was "STANES" and he was a seaman (E-2).
You go on and figure that one out yourself!

"Seaman (blank!) to the quarterdeck..."

But I think I will never forget Angela Stephanie Shields. Her initials about summed her up...

When I worked as a bank teller years ago, we had a customer who's name was Harry Carey. Sadly, his wife's name was Mary and their son's name was Larry.

As a Medical Insurance processor I came across a patient named Anita ***.

What are these people thinking?!
