Weird names

Odd as it may seem:
My (female) cousin once married a man with the last name of "Bickle".
They had planned to name their first son "Dell"...
(I'm glad he turned out to be gay!)
In the seventies and eighties some of the popular names were so "Valley" and special it was stomach turning - "Krystal" and so on.
But the all time "WHY DID THEY DO THAT?" vote from me centers around three conspicuous first names that will forever change the future of whomever must carry them the rest of their lives -
Why would a parent name someone:
"Stymey"
"Jeeves"
or
"NESTOR"...
(Unless of course they were butlers by heritage)(2nd two cases)

In about 1971 my dad bought a '37 LaSalle from a man named Dell Pantell...thought that was cool name! -TD

I think celebrities take the prize for weird names:
Jon Davis (Korn front man) named his new kid Pirate Hausmann Davis (WTF?)
Demi Moore's kids - Rumor & Scout
One of these actresses recently named her kid Apple
Do I need to bring up Dweezil & Moon Unit (Zappa)?
However the funniest name I've actually seen - I didn't know this guy but his name was on a list of users for the company:

Poor guy!

I don't know where Rumor came from, but Scout was the little girl in 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. This is my favorite book ever, and I immediately recognized the name.

Went to school with Anita Dich and Dorceus (dorkus) littlejohn, little old man at church in Jax NC name is Dick haire...
back in high school they used to have the roll call books and when a sub was due to come in the guys would add C. Mike Hunt to the roll.....bad boys I tell ya bad
My daughter is named Holland Taylor.....named after two texas towns...didnt realize there was an actress named Holland Taylor until a few months later.
