Ball Joint Quest
1998 2.5 2WD 5spd-----Looking for confirmation on procedure. First, I can obtain ball joints independently of control arms? Moog part numbers are uppers-K8738? and lowers-K8771T? Remove wheel spindles, support lower arm with jack, press out ball joints, press in new ones? Does anyone feel strongly about replacing bushings also? Appreciate any confirmation/tips/guidance. Thanks

I heard that it's doable, just seperating and replacing the ball joint(s), there have been several posts where people did not have to replace the entire control arm assembly:
