Small Problem With Emergency Brake
i'm at present starting to install the new door jamb switches. but i ran into one small problem. i was told if i remove the vent duct on the driver side on the left side i could access the wire that fell loss when it rusted away from the old door jamb switch. am i right. and if so how the hell to i remove the panal because two screws are blocked by the emergency brake braket. can this be unmounted to get to it or is there another way? i feel like i take one step forward and two steps back with this project truck. any hell would be great.

that's the only way to get to those screws, remove the e-brake pedal assembly.............btw there are 2 bolts in the fender well that hold it in place,too
also a good time to remove 30 years worth of leaves and other crap that is behind the vent
