St Louis here, South County to be exact. I have a 1954 F100 thats "in progress", has IFS and 302/C4 combo. Also have a 2003 F150 S/C 4WD and a 1991 Ranger 4x2 "Beater". Would love to hear from other people in the area. I also have a small shop and do some fabrication/welding and other services.

thanks,
Dan

Nice to hear from you Dan. I live down in Imperial, so I'm not to far from you. Where is your shop located and what all do you do there.

I'm right in South County off Tesson Ferry, about 4 miles south of 270. I do some Welding and fabrication on Turbochargers, Superchargers, exhausts, and chassis. Also do performance and truck wheel/tire mounting/balancing.

Great to hear from people in the area.

Dan

Hey! Hope you all get this. 2 things; 1, if you're in the STL area and like to play in the mud, look at the MUDFEST thread. 2, anyone in the STL area have access to a lathe? I gotta make a few bushings that are 3/4-16 LH and RH thread out of some 1" round stock, and I figgered someone may have a lathe I can buy a 6-pack for.

Bonne Terre, MO here. Just aquired a 88 B2 2.9 that i'm gunna play with. Nothing major just a small lift, bigger tires, and some exaust work for now.

I've spent the last week getting the motor up to snuff. Have to let my wallet recooperate then i start on the wish list =)

I'm new to the 4x4 scene so i've got lots to learn =)

Welcome to FTE

Bronco II can be a fun play toy. I have 2 the 89 is a daily driver and the 87 is going to be built up for off roading once I finish my ranger build.

Does yours have a auto or manual Transimission?

Mine has the auto tranny. A4LD I believe. I want to put a 5 speed in it but thats a while down the road.

Got the motor running pretty well and put front brakes on today. Tomorrow i gotta do the rear brakes and go tire shopping. Gunna go with a set of the cheapest 30 x 9.50's i can find for now since i havent got it lifted yet.

I like to be bugged, I love the ranger/bronco II. I bought one new in 88 and ran the hell out of it. It impressed me.

I swaped my a4ld out for a fm146 5 speed. I went through 2 a4ld's before the swap. 30 x9.5 should look good on there.

My 89 died tonight, so I guess I will be working on it during my vacation now. At least I like working on them.

Kansas City, MO. I have a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer that just got re-assigned to my 17 year old daughter after I sold her 1993 Nissan Pathfinder. Life is good.
