New guy old problem Need help

1985 Ford f-150 had a 6cylinder, converted to a 351 windsor with automatic, ran fine until I decided to clean out some dirt from the distributor. Removed it sprayed it out, let it dry two hours, replaced it, truck wont start. Replaced TFI module, replaced coil, went to salvage yard got 2nd dist, NO help, engine turns, no spark, traced all wires, power on three of the six on the plug on the side of the dist.with key on, dont know what else to do Can anybody help Please

Is the dizzy anywhere close to proper position? If the PIP sensor doesn't send the right signals to the computer it won't fire.

Maybe...Always fall back to basics. 1:spark. 2: fuel.
"It ran fine" until you got into the dizzy? I'ld stay there.

jimmy1950, I can't tell you how many times I have overlooked the obvious because "I" just knew that couldn't be the problem and wasted untold hundreds of $ only to find out that "I" was wrong. If you have spark and fuel then next is timing. Good luck.
