Hi. I bought a 2002 F350 V-10, with 40,000 miles a little over a week ago. It is my first truck, and it is great. It is under a 3 month bumper to bumper, and I hope you guys can help me with the following issues, as they are free to fix right now.--
First. The engine(V10) is nearly silent when I rev it in neutral(its an auto tranny). When I drive, it has alot more noise. Its not brutal, but it is noticeably noisier. Is this normal??
Secondly/thirdly. When I release the brake, there seems to be a slight shudder. When I hit the gas- there seems to be a fraction of a second before the tranny kicks in. Its similair to when I drive in 4x4 low before it kicks in. I have not driven automatics in close to 7 years. I just want to make sure these things are normal and no cause for concern.
Thanks,
James
