Can ya help a girl out?? Backing out of a parking spot yesterday, check engine light came on. Pushed on gas pedal - no response. Put truck in neutral then back into drive and truck took right off. Got to next stoplight and did same thing. Had pedal all the way to floor - barely moving. Put truck in neutral then back into drive and it took right off. It hasn't happened since yesterday, but the check engine light blinks on for about two seconds then goes off. Anyone have any ideas??
I don't know that much about the fuel system of the 7.3 PS, F250Chic, but it still sounds like a filter may be bad or even the Throttle Position Sensor.
Next time you get your check engine light to blink, count them. Should be a two digit number. Then call a place like Autozone, 405-632-0110 open 24hrs, they should be able to help tell you what the code is for.
Better yet, take it to Autozone and let them scan the codes. They'll usually do that for free. If you SES light flashed, then there is a stored code that they can retrieve and narrow your search for your problem. Once you get a code post it here and we'll be able to help you out.
Just wanted to thank y'all for your help. I ended up taking my baby to a diesel mechanic that our mechanic here at work recommended. Ended up being 2 different sensors. Codes 122 and 221. Should have my baby back and running today!!
