Question Chevron Supreme 5w20

Does the chevron 5w20 meet the Ford spec for 05 F150's? Is it as good as the Motorcraft? It's available real cheep at Costco.

Chevron Supremes formulation is better than the newer Motorcraft formulation. It will have moly for the barrier lube state. I have run it in my 04 4.6 and with my mostly hiway conservative miles, it produced single digit wear metals at 5000 mile changes. Personally, I would pick the Supreme over most other oils even if it was premium priced. At a discount, buy all they have before I beat ya to it. Expected shelf life of 5 years so stock up if it's cheap cause motor oil is going to go up with the gas prices.
