I own a 94.5 psd and do not know what type of coolant is in it all i know is it is green,i have ordered some test strips from napa,when i test it and the levels are too low can i just add the additive to it and by the way what does sca stand for and what is fw16.Please reply.

I don't know what SCA stands for but I do know that it keeps the coolant from cavitating around the cylinder liners. If the coolant cavitates it can crack the liners. I have the green coolant now but I am going to switch to Zerex G-05, it already has the additives you need for your diesel. I found the stuff at NAPA for about 11 bucks per gallon.

Looks like some good stuff, but who carries it? You would think the large auto parts chains would have gotten the message by now that diesels are here to stay. They call them parts stores, but they are usually overloaded with touch-up paint and fuzzy dice.

I wouldn't put the Rotella ELC in any PSD made before '99 as per this link (you have to scroll down to the Shell Tech Quote).
I'd go with the Zerex G-05 in your application.
