Abe,Good response I haven,t completely made up my mind on which engine to use in mine.I have the 223 and a good 302.If I keep the 223 I will not have to worry about rust from the side cover back.
You also gave me an ideal to tell people when they ask,Is your truck leaking oil.No,that,s just what ford used for rust prevention in 1954.

I'm using Rustolem red rust primer, and black topcoat. On everything frame, cab inside and out. I have always believed in the fish oil additive and I can live with the price. I like the fact you can brush it on and also use the spray cans in those hard to reach areas.
