about 20 yrs ago I bought 2 new offenhauser multiple carb manifolds from a guy, one fro 2 carbs, the other for 3, in all my years at swap meets etc, I have never seen another one!!!!!! just wondering if anyone else has? some day they're going on my 223......looks like fabricating linkage could be a project of its own....jim
Sounds interesting, Jim. Would I be guessing right that these are setup for three bolt carbs? I'm a big fan of more than one carb.
Linkage on my setup was not as complex as I first assumed. In fact, I just replaced the shouldered pins with heim joints to slicken up that progressive linkage. When you get to it you need to give us some pics and let us see how this setup works for you.
I just bought one for my 226 Flathead 6 they are not common for my motor and was expensive when I did find one. I have saves earch on EBAY that finally turned ut up for me. I have seen exactly one in a year and I now own it. Hope to have it on this summer.
Well Hiball, now you know what the two-carb model (you aren't going to use) is worth on eBay! I know you'll end up using the tri-power setup 'cuz it has MORE POWER!!!
Actually according to Father & his friends, along w/ how well they were represented in the Fenton, Offenhauser, Edelbrock, etc. Catalogs, they were extremely Popular w/ the Inliner Crowd & were readily available.
I've a Fenton Duce Single & an Offenhauser Tri-Pak for mine, as well as a McCullough MS57 Super Charger.
thanks for the Ebay link, thats exactly what I have, now I've seen 2 in my life time, the other one I have is for 3 one barrel carbs........didn't relize they were worth that much, I bought mine for $25 a piece......thanks again
