New Toys to Play With

Just picked up a couple more toys to play with. A 84 and 88 BII's.

Just what I needed was more money pits, but heck it will keep me busy anyway.

I just took a close look at the extra set of tires and wheels. Guess we know where they are headed soon.Good luck with them. Let me know what the guys says is wrong with both of them. And if you decide to get rid of the 84/85 let me know. I have cash and parts for the the 88.

Joe says he wants to run 35's so he needs to start looking for axles for "Beater". Don't know how big Rolie is going to go.

Got the 88 home tonight. It is a little rough and the engines has some major problems.

Body -- Missing drivers side rear window, some rust around fender wells, dash cracked, interior is pretty decent for the age, electric seats and windows, rear spare tire carrier and cover, XLT model.

Engine -- 2.9 FI, didn't start (no fuel pressure) (can't hear the pump come on), engine loses both water and oil but can't see where it is leaking from (maybe the head?).

Trans is a code D Mitsubishi 5-speed manual.

Axle is a 7.5 open with 3:45 code 42

Spare set of original aluminum star type rims with decent tires.

Manual locking hubs and manual 4X4 shifter.

Will pick up the 84 tomorrow evening.
