Fuel questions

I have an 01 F-250 7.3 CC SB. What is the fuel capacity? Also how much fuel should be in the tank when the "low fuel" light comes on?

I believe the small tank is 29 gallons. Should be about 3.5 gallons when the light comes on (1/8 tank).

I have a 2000 Crew Cab 7.3 and when the low level light comes on in my truck I have 7 gallons left, however my guage is off by 4 gallons, so 3-3.5 left sounds right.

when my lighy goes on I know I have at least 40 miles left, but I don't push it.
