Hi everyone, I have aquestion about the cab lights on my truck. I'm not sure what to call them other than "pedestal mount" lights. They were on my truck when I bought it. To be honest, I didn't like them at first, but I've only seen one other truck with 'em on. They are mounted to the roof, but sit up an inch or two.The lens is cylindrical with the front having a 45* back cut. The reason I'm asking is because 28 years of weather has taken a toll on them. I would like to replace them with the same thing, if anyone still makes 'em.
Thanks drzman for the link. I checked 'em out, but didn't find anything there.
I looked a little closer and noticed that they were made by Signal Stat. The only other info was 1300 on it. I sure would like to find a new set of these. I saw a truck in a town about 30 miles from me that had the same style, but it's the only other one I saw. I like them because they look nostalgic.
The lights you have sound like the ones that International used to put on their trucks in I believe the 60's. I put them on a red 69 chevy and thought they looked great, and I bought them directly from the International dealer at the time. They Had a light like you describe on top of a chrome pedestal.

Rpayne, yea I do believe that they were for heavy duty trucks. They are Signal Stat
1301A, and they don't make 'em anymore since Truck-Lite bought out Signal Stat. I have to find a source they still has inventory of these lights.
National Parts Depot might have what you are looking for. I have the same lights on my truck. Page 186 in their second edition catalog. The front half of the light is the yellow plastic lens and the back half of the light and the base is Chrome, not plastic. A set of 5 is $57.
