Intercooler
I was wandering what the benefits would be for me in putting a banks intercooler on my 2002 powerstroke. I know it is bigger and will probably cool better. If any one has done this let me know a price estimate and hp/tq gains.

Since your truck is already intercooled I would not expect any increases unless you upgraded your turbo and got bigger injectors. It just doesn't make any sense in a stock truck. Unless you already upgraded heavily you'll notice lower EGT but no HP or TQ gains.

i dont think too much of the banks intercoolers, if you want a ic upgrade the hypermax is much better. the banks is powder coated which is an insualtor. the hypermax is larger also.
like domino said unless your heavily modded then it dosnt make a differnce. by then water injection is a better choice
