I noticed that the paint right above the rain gutter on the driver side extended cab of my 2000 Ranger is flaking off. You can see the paint boiling up, with the grey primer under it. Its not much, but it won't take long to become a problem.
What is the best approach to dealing with this? Can I safely buff out the chipping portion of the paint, and go over it with a new coat in that one section, or is something more in order here? I'm not Michaelangelo with the paint sprayer, so I personally can't get too fancy.
Well that sucks. I guess I'll wait until the paint really starts flaking, then take it in for a quality paint job. Too bad, the rest of the truck is pristine.
