build date label

where can I find the engine build date label? I didn't notice a date or anything on the valve cover stickers.

thanks, yes that link helped. found what I was inquiring about. my engine has a date of feburary 10 2005.

My 04 is missing the build date on that sticker. A friend here at work has a 03 and you can easily see it on his. But on my 04, its like it was left off the sticker.

WOW - please post those huge pics in your gallery

made my dsl pro not feel so professional

MINE on my 03 X is on the drivers side "valve" cover near the rear of the engine...
I had to put my eyes just above the level of the fender and look thru the triangle made by the hood and hood support and twist JUST SO to be able to see it...
once I got my video camera out though it was easier to find it..

Yup, thats where the 2nd picture is of. driver side valve cover rear of engine under the coolant bottle.
