I have a 1999 F150 V8 engine with an intermittent starting problem. When warm, the fuel pump will occasionally fail to run when attempting to start the vehicle. The Ford garage advised the fuel pump checked out OK, so they replaced the fuel pump relay... A month or so later it failed to start again when warm.. If I let the truck sit for 10-20 minutes it will start. Was advised to check the fuel control module by a friend at work... Where is the fuel control module located and would replacing it be the next logical step?
