99 SD Hub conversion question

99 SD Hub conversion question
Hello, I need to do a hub conversion on a 99 F-250 4x4 SD.
I want to go from the early (99) style 10mm flange to the later (99) style 13mm flange since the current 10mm ones in use are warped.
Besides the hub, rotors and new pads are there any other parts I will need for this upgrade? maybe caliper mounts or something??
Thanks
Matt

So you are saying you want to replace the bearings $250 a piece and the rotors .
You can use the newer bearing and the newer rotors and they will bolt up and be fine.
Thats what I've read I havn't done it yet...The parts should be different from 3-99 and after. Sure beats spending the big bucks for the bearings at the dealer cause you can't get the early one's aftermarket...Rotor warping has nothing to do with the early design, later design will warp just as easily.

hub bearings don't warp.. Rotors warp and change thickness to cause pedal pulsation.
The hub bearing 515021 costs about $239 thats without abs. Dealer prices are ridiculous. Never go there unless you have to.

The piece that is not straight is this one specifically the flange the studs are in that the rotor sets up against.
It may have warped from an impact..dunno. All I do know it that the rotor is straight but that piece is not so a brake pulsation is present.
The 239.00 price you are talking about must be just the bearing and not the complete hub with bearing. If it is can you give me the manufacture of that part number? I know Napa and Chicago Rawhide are way more than the dealers price.

Yes it must of been in an accident for that part to be bent..If it is bent your wheel and tire would shake violently. The hub is all one part..Try online or Car quest or auto zone..Most guy's lately have gone to car quest...Thats where I got that price..I have seen $250 prices as a common occurance. The 4 mounting bolts have to come out from the old unit and put in to the new unit. Some guy's have been buying new one's at the dealer.
