Hey, thanks for the advice guys, I'll check it out today.

I've thought of also doing upgrades to the lawnmower, but I don't know where to start. Maybe making a small stack-style exhaust for it...lol. The only thing I've done, is put some APC SuperWhite Headlights on it....gives it that nice blue HID look...LOL

Here's a pic of with a spinning hubcap my dad found...:

I had too much time on my hands....

Sheeze It would be nice to have a riding mower. I did mod my push mower, 5hp B&S, milled head, pocket ported, ISKY mid rev cam/spring kit, port matched carb. It sounds real nice, cuts grass perfectly and starts on the first pull every time even after sitting all winter it fired right up. Just gotta check the blade very often or risk loosing my feet. I use to build race motors for go karts but now days I'm just bored.

Last fall I bought one for $75 that the deck needs a rebuild (never had the spindles greased). The guy still had the manual and sales receipt. I may just buy a new deck as time is an issue, but I have a friend who rebuilt the motor of one for the mower races. He traded off that mower but he used a Seado (spelling?) cam. During the bench test it was trying to work its way off.

I see the spring and pfogle, i think you're right no it being too tight. If you hold the brake in just right, the mower will drive and there's no noise. Today we mowed (and currently are) the whole yard. Ahh....that good ol grass smell.

Hey, can you buy muffler's for mowers?? lol, a mini-muffler.

Here is my Playtoy
The 95 Craftsman. Fully restored. Started when i was 12 on it i'm now 17 an i finished it last summer. Had a 15.5 Briggs. Now has a Brand New 17hp Tech with full pressure lube and filter.

Next i'm pulling the Hydro tranny for a 6spd we have at work that the pully is 3 times the size but uses the same splines as the smaller hydro pully. 55mph here i come. Oh and my all chrome 2 1/2" stack:

I have a 2.9ltr out of my ranger that has a 351W going in it. I eventually want to put that in there. Stretch the frame 2ft and add it to the hood also put a narrowed 9" out back with a 5spd between the two.

WHAT? he has plenty! i built a little morphidite mower, it's body was from two different mowers, it even has an emblem that says rat, and thats what we call it. I put i way bigger, stronger chain on it (can still manage to break it) I also used a 3 gear tranny (you gotta use the ones that look like they have proshifted synchros) and a 7 horse briggs that i pulled from the ag shops store room, i shaved a bit off the head for compression, modded the carb off a 12 horse for a bit more fuel, and upped the speed on the govoner. that thing could pull and even for a little while hang the front in the air. it even dumped me off a couple of times!

Those are 2 55W fog lights that I got from walmart for like $15. They are REAL bright at night. hehehe.
