map lights 86 f150
I can't get the map lights to work in my truck. I checked the bulbs, and they're fine.
I was just wondering if anybody else out there has had issues with the map lights, and if so, how did you fix them? I am suspecting a grounded wire. the dome light works fine, but I think the map lights are on a different circuit than the dome light.
any ideas?

I would use a volt meter or test light and check for continuity to ground to see if it is shorted. Then leave one end of the volt meter/test light connected to the wire in the ceiling and check for continuity on the fuse box, just keep touching each fuse till you get a light or tone from the volt meter. Then you know exactly which fuse controls it.
