in order to move the window up you also need to make sure to press the gravity switch inside the door inorder to run the window. It is located near the latch inside the tailgate.

Also, I am in desperate need of a driver's side power window switch and wiring assembly. I have an 86. I can find a single one here in Florida.

There were a few of them there, but of the 87-91 type. So far all of the Broncos there are the 87-91 style. If that switch will work for you then I can get one, hopefully it will be good. But so far all parts must be 87-91 - or else if that year will work for a different year such as the tailgate access panel. I am hoping that they bring some more Broncos in.
