Engine Problems- PLEASE HELP

do check your thermostat they cost like 2 dollars and takes like 10 mins to do put in + if you have 1900000 miles its no telling how long its been since it were changed if it were. I had a thermostat in mine that was probably was probably original off a 1988 efi rusted to hell and wouldnt open more than a 1/16 of a inch and i gurantee your engine could be running cool if that were your problem. Also another thing while your looking at the thermostat make sure its for stock spec some people try to run cooler thermostats because of aftermarket fans and so on but u dont want to stray to far from stock temp for a thermostat or you will not have proper combustion. Anwyayz this is just from my limited experience im only 16 so take my words lightly, but i do gurantee this could be the reason and only takes a few mins to check and fix so make sure you get rid of that 2 dollar possibility before you get to more time consuming and more costly ideas.
