Who offers hydraulic cylinders?
Ive looked at AGR, Stazworks, WTO, and a few others, but they are all no good or rip-off's. 150 for a Ram? No thank you...
Who else has them?
Edit: Im looking for a 1.5" or 1.75" bore w/ 8" stroke...
Ebay - # 3878821915 The only thing I don't know is the direction of the mounting holes on the cylinder base. But I just bought one so I can find out. You can never have too many rams. I also have a 2" ram but I'm going to try them both to see how the response speed is. If you want I can post a picture of this ram when it arrives and let you know about the mounting holes. They're always on ebay from that seller.
Well I've got to see how that rear mount is. You certainly could turn it but I'd prefer to have my hoses facing up rather than forward. I do wonder though if you would have enough room to use elbows on the hydro fittings and turn them facing backwards. Pretty much any of these rams can be rebuilt, it's just seals.
only bad thing baout those big rams is you need lots of volume to fill them, so it slowsd your steering down a good bit, i bought the kit from rocklogic4x4 and tapped my box, and got the ram monted up.....its sweet, with my stock saginaw i cn sit at idle and turn my wheels from lock to lock with the brakes applied with my pinkie its kicks butt
2.0 is a waste for assist, 1.5 is plenty for hydr assist, i would only go with a 2.0 for full hydroim using the 1.5x8 from rocklogic 4x4....theres no reason to use a huge one with hydro assist...this one has all the darn power i need.... go to rocklogic4x4.com and check out their hydro assist kit, i got it for 240 froma vendor on pirate...comes with the mounts, hoses to the length u need, grde 8 bolts, and heims for the ends of the rams, and of course the small compct ram....relly nice kit, since i recently broke my sector shaft, i got anotherbox and me and fishy put a new sector shaft in my box and tapped it, and tonight i put her up on jackstandds and mounted up the ram and hoses.....its absolutly SWEET, going down the road there is no difference in steering, except for tons more power at slow speeds. just make sure you get a good sizd tranny coller and run it in the low pressure line on your ps pump.
