2000 7.3 upgrades
I am new to this forum and I am in need of some advice as to what mods I could do with beneficial results without breaking the bank or end up with a race truck. The truck is a 2000 F250 XLT PSD 6sp longbed supercab 4x4, whew. It already has a Hypertech programmer installed on "setting two", I mainly use this truck for work and half the time I pull a 24' gooseneck trailer which weighs approx. 12K. The programmer has helped, but I know there is more I can do which can both help in power without sacrificing MPG a whole lot. These mods are what I had in mind, please advise either way for or against.
4" ALUMINIZED EXHAUST SYSTEM
FPR SHIMMING (already 65psi)
10k MOD
INTAKE ( already made a shadetree ram air setup by cutting header panel)
GAUGES
OTHER???
