Well, we have to oil consumtion problem but the valve just sounds like it is sticking open a little bit, but it only does it while it is warm, after some realitivly high rpm highway driving, then it will stay that way for about an hour after shut down, after that its fine again till its used on the highway again. I'm going to go run it today and pull the valve covers off to see whats up, I'll let you know what I find.

i seem to think that you could hear a valve problem in the exhaust pipe. After you get it to op temp, try to loosen the injection line to each cylinder and see if there is one that makes no difference. It will either show up an injector or a valve skip. Hope this helps you out.

I found the problem, an intake valve was sticking. My old man hasn't been checking the oil in it. I backed out of the driveway and hit the brakes and the oil pressure dropped, filled it and all is well now.
