Does anyone have a good search site for used for these? I hav looked at autotrader, and found a couple. Also, does anyone know of a short shifter for these trucks? Thanks

Ouch. Yea, this is mainly a question of does anyone have a short shift kit? I am trying to find all the mods I want to do before, because I know this is what Im buying. I just need to wait untill the right deal comes.

From what I've heard, in California, decent used Powerstrokes are either hard to find, or quite high priced. If you want the best deal, look for a Texas truck. Powerstrokes are thicker than fleas down there, so the selection is good, and they're more reasonably priced. That's what my son-in-law did. He bought his truck on eBay out of Houston, and had it shipped up to Seattle.

Frost, I have seen that, in fact my uncle has one on his 2000. P-town is Pleasanton(S.F. Bay area). everything is dang expensive here. I looked at cummins trucks, but they are extremely high.
