But I've gotta admit one of the best laughs I ever had was watching the Simple Life when Paris got her skinny butt "bucked" off of that poor old horse. She rides horses all the time?? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight...I hate it when you forget how to handle your reins and keep your hiney from flapping around in the saddle...happens to everyone that's been riding for years, as she claimed she had. I've seen tougher rides on Wal-Mart "quarter" horses.

They can do whatever they want because they are extremely rich. They have more money than my whole family will make in our entire lifetime. I could care less about any of those people. Have you ever noticed that the ones like the Hilton sisters, the Simpson sisters and others who can't act and who can't sing are always the ones blasted all over the TV and radio. They didn't break into the business because they were good and talented, they got there because of daddy's money and because they are spoiled rotten and they can get anything they want.
I maybe watch just a couple of hours of TV a week now and usually end up turning it off because the acting has gotten so bad. Same way with the radio, most of the music nowadays is horrible and I find myself turning stations to find something decent worth listening to, or just turn it off completely.

I'd like to go back and include in my rant:
1) Martha Stewart. Why is there a felon taking up so much time on my television? Didn't this woman commit a crime, and cost alot of people that can't afford to lose their investment a bunch of money? And here we are, the naive public giving her more of our time by allowing her to be on tv again! What's wrong with us??
2) Any Rap star (namely "Fifty Cent", Fiddy, or what the heck ever we are supposed to call his illiterate... butt)that has no inherent value to society, except to incite hatred of others and preach violence in his lyrics.
3) Reality TV- of any kind. When is our society going to learn that there is nothing real about reality tv? the cast is made up, the situations are made up and the outcome is nothing but a popularity contest. My idea of the perfect reality show: Draw the contestants names from a hat, put them in a tough situation and let them go. Period. Perhaps you could drop them off in a swamp with a stick of gum and a toothpick (McGyver style) and who ever reaches civilization first is the winner. "Junkyard Wars" is, perhaps, a good example of reality TV, though I've only watched it few times.

I hear that Paris isn't as dumb as she comes off in TV, and her sister is far from dumb. While a lot of their worth is daddy's, they've brought in millions on their own without all of this stupid reality TV exposure. But dumb or not....twist my arm into a night out with either any day of the week.

It's easy to make money when you have tons of it... think about what they make compared to what they spend... ouch, I'll bet that smarts.
And if it weren't for their "famous label", they wouldn't be anything to anybody. I don't necessarily mind people like that... can't hate them for having money, but you *can* dislike them for pretending to be something they're not. You have to know when to give up, just say "yeah, I'm dumb. But who's paying all this money for stuff I "made"?... who's dumber now?"

martha stewart is really starting to get on my nerves now. all the airwaves she took up with that fake cooking show or was it a crafts show? anyhow than she took up more tv time with this scandel. once shes in prison she should have been forgotten, nope here she is again, and the sad part is, people still think she is the greatest thing since sliced bread! i try not to watch to much tv anymore, the only thing on tv nowadays anyway is reality shows. what reality show can you walk away from and feel that it was a credit to your i.q.? or that you have learned something from? i havent found one yet, but than again its been a while since ive watched one. if any of you guys know of one please let me know, so that maybe i can enjoy my tv again.
