It seems some may have missed out on the opportunity to bid on a S/S set. We are going to do one more round. I will post up some auctions tonight and tomorrow night. Speak up now if you want to sponser one. Email is best.

Now here's the catch. I'll give you my excuse right up front. If you win an auction, I might ship it in 24 hours, or I might take a week. Some of you Noobs may not know what I do for a living. I am a cross between an active duty soldier and a Guardsman. It's hard to explain, but I work some tough hours since 9-11. Practically all my friends that aren't on this forum are in Iraq right now, and some of them are blood related to me. If they need a Conooter spring for a 50 caliber machinegun, the latest issue of Hot Rod magazine, or a Hostess Twinkie the same day I promised to ship your S/S, guess what I'm doing first? You can only imagine how hard it is for my boys to get little stupid things they really need. I get the Iraq play by play like it's an NCAA basketball game. And five "Can you please, please find this or that repair part, and send it to Iraq" emails or phone calls a day. I'm very focused on making that happen right now.

If you can live with that, then bid away. And God I hope that didn't sound like some self glorifying statement. I know there are a dozen guys here who would take up the cause and auction all this S/S for us if they could. But I'm the experienced S/S guy here. We'll just make the kits simple as possible to assemble and drive on. Several guys really want to pay for a couple auctions so I will post some up later tonight.

Sincerely,
Dewayne

Hey Hey, where is the love? As Dolly Parton said, "It's expensive to look this cheap" It takes a superior intellect to sound this stupid.

That being said, we have placed Cole and family on our church prayer list (yep Bubba attends) so there's about 900 people praying for the little dude.

Here are three more auctions. The first includes an FTE membership. (I'll be signing up here myself here in a moment)

FTE Membership and Satin Interior Kit

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4534125549

Satin Bed Kit

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4534123063

Satin Running board kit

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4534121586

There won't be any more big polished kits, but I'd be happy to do a thread on the secret teachins' of polishing S/S if you win a satin kit. It's not expensive, nor does it require special tools. And it's a lot of fun. (OK, maybe the fun part was a lie, but you can get pro results with a little effort)

This is definitely the last bed kit. I'll be out. Won't be any more of those from me until fall, if then. A few more auctions may follow tomorrow. Awaiting answers from those who expressed interest in sponsoring an auction.

And if anyone just wants to donate a few bucks via PayPal, drop me an email.
