My adj fpr has a 1/8 npt port and I was thinking about installing a summit fuel press gauge onto it. My concern is if the gauge would ever go and spring a leak because of heat, vibration, ect., I could turn my Bronco into a Blazer! Has anyone had installed one and had any problems. I know they have fuel rail mounted gauges for Corvettes & Cameros from Summit, but just haven"t heard any long term feedback.
Ihave A 95 Heavily Modified 5.0l Bronco. I Didn't Even Bother With Mounting The Fpg To The Regulator , I Just Bought The Accel Adapter And Screwed It Into The Fuel Rail. I Bought The Summit Gauge For 20. It Works Great But I'm On My 2nd One. Word Of Caution!!! Do Not Get Any Type Of Chemical On The Gauge Lens, It's Plastic And Melts And Marrs Very Easily.
Geezer, I'm At Work Now When I Get Home I'll Try To Post It Tonight. In My Opinion I Would Spend The Extra Money And Get A Glass Faced Gauge. I Just Ruined My New One With Contact Cleaner Right After I Posted Yesterday. Just Alitte Overspray.
Fuel pressure gauges are not to be mounted inside the cab. That is why they are designed to be weather resistant. The are either mounted inline (under the hood) or you can buy others to mount elsewhere. The best place is on the rain cowl, just outside the windshield in front of you.

On Edit: For some reason I thought you were going to mount it inside the cab. My bad.......
Geezer The Part # Is 3280 And It Is Not An Accel Part It Is An Auto Meter Part. It Is Simple To Do. All That It Is , Simply Remove The Piece From Inside The Fitting On The Rail And Then Screw In Auto Meter Part And The Gauge. You Will Need A Special Tool To Remove The Needle From Inside The Fitting Though. It Is The Same Tool You Would Use On A Bike Or Car Tire. I Borrowed One.
