not getting any spark while starting that is now but before i would be driving down the road and it would stop running, then run ,then stop and so forth. also starting in the morning is would want to quit running but if I floor the gas then I would be able to keep it running. I've changed the cap, rotor, coil, fuel pump under the drivers door, fuel filter, and fuel regulator. 89 full size bronco 4.9L manual.
Your problem description is sort of vague, but after reading it (and ignoring parts replaced so far) the two thoughts that come to mind are a clogged fuel delivery system, or a bad electrical connection somewhere that is causing an erratic spark.
I also think that it is something simple, these things usually are. I don't know what else you replaced, but since you said that you did the cap and rotor then it is probably in a decent enough state of tune. However, since I can't be sure, I recommend checking and/or replacing the plugs and the air filter, cleaning the throttle body, and running a good fuel injector cleaner in the gas (use 2X the amount recommended for normal cleaning). Also, very important, check your ignition timing, and see if you can get the ignition module tested. Bad ignition modules cause lots of driveability problems and could also cause a no spark condition. Finally, the fact that you can keep it running when cold lby flooring it leads me to suspect a rich fuel condition, at least on cold starts. An air filter that is very dirty can cause that, among other things.
Those are just a few basic ideas, but are places to start. Also, see if you can pull any codes from the computer. If you are lucky, the computer might find something amiss.
