I'm relatively new to this site, just having joined about 2 weeks ago. I'm hurriedly trying to get to 25 posts so I can post some URL's in my posts. This is a great forum, with a lot of really nice people, not snooty, just real people, down to earth, that know what they want in life and how to enjoy it. I'm 49 years young. Having survived two major surgeries in less than 100 days - 6/2003 and 9/2003: first one for disc surgery on my back and the second one for removal of a right cancerous kidney. The second surgery put a lot of things into perspective for me: what's important in life and to enjoy my family and friends every chance I get. Many lifestyle changes took place for me over the last couple of years, mainly diet and getting rid of stress. I've pretty much went all organic, eliminating beef from my diet and only eating buffalo, wild salmon and free range chicken. Plus organic fruits and vegetables. I'm still working on the stress part. I owned my first superduty F250 back in 1974 and my second one in 1975 after I traded for a Ranger XLT with 7700 gvw package (that was really heavy back then) and manual hubs on front and GIANT factory optional radiator, heavy duty battery/alternator. Along the way acquired two wives (consecutive/traded up ) and two children. It's been a long stretch without a 4 wheeler and now I'm back. I've got a 1999 Harley Road King Classic and I've got to tell you, the 2005 F250 4x4 makes me feel younger than the bike does. My only regrets with this one: I wish it had manual transfer case shifter and the lariat package. Oh well, I need to be thankful for what I have and enjoy it. I think my wife silently laughs a little bit when I leave the den at night and go out in the garage and sit in the truck. Hey if that makes me happy so be it. I sure like the ride that a F250 gives you vs the F150 (didn't mean to offend anybody). But sorry to bore you guys/gals with my introduction. Oh yeah, I'm from northwest Iowa and work as a probation officer in one life and in my other life, I'm a professional photographer. Nice to be here and meet a bunch of you!
