TPS Question

Im trying to do the power pedal mod to my 95. If I'm not mistaken I'm supposed to elongate the holes on the TPS. Mine has metal sleeves thru the mounting holes. How do you elongate these holes?

Now you are on the TPS the sensor above the validation switch right??? Man dude I have a 95 and the holes on the TP sensor was all just part of the plastic housing... Not sure what you have there if thats the case? Maybe some of the guru's of this forum can help more than I can, sorry...

Yea, the validation switch was different from those in the picture as well. The 'tab' is not part of the switch. Its part of the frame. It was a little harder to bend, but I accomplished the same results. As soon as I press the pedal now, the IVS clicks. The TPS does have metal sleeves in the mount holes though. I don't know how much they cost, but I'll check into it. It seems at about 50-55 mph, if I let off the pedal, the rpm's drop back to idle. Sounds lie a TPS problem.
