Blow me!

Yes you heard me! I week ago I ordered a Special mod for my truck. It's from Trixters racing down in Texas. And no it's not an ATI. I ended up going with a Greddy turbo charger! It adds more hp at a lower boost and they say there is practically no lag.

It's going to be a pretty labor intensive install. Besides the turbo I will be installing special front facing headers, new exhaust, 3 core inner cooler, 42 lbs ford racing injectors, 90mm 03 Lightning MAF, High volume Bosch in tank fuel pump, Boost, A/F ratio & fuel pressure gauges, Changing around my e-fans to pushers and relocating the train horns.

I can't wait to get going on this mod. Well actully I have. I installed the A/F gauge the other day and will be installing the others in a few days. Trixters says it takes about a month to get the kit made. The custom make the headers and mandrel bend all the piping. Plus the have to order all the other parts.

Look out red trucks!!

Tony that sounds like way too much fun. Are you going to have a mod party so we can all stand around and drool on you stuff before it goes into the truck?

Yeah, but you'll have to be real careful that we don't put it on somebody else's truck. I wonder if it would work on a 460 in an old 54.

Tony

Man that sounds great! Are you having your headers ceramic coated inside and out?

I think this would be a great opportunity to have a mod party and help Tony out. One person should not have that much fun by himself.

Well I called Texas today. It still looks like I am 3 weeks away on getting my Turbo. I am also thinking about driving down there to have them install it. Sure would save me a lot of work. They also would be able to Dyno tune my truck and fab up a new exhaust system. All's I have to do is scrape up some more $$$ and don't tell work that I'm leaving until after I'm gone! lol
