lol One of my contractors takes off a few times a year for a week or so and only tells his clean up guy that he left. Within a few days all the subs are asking where the contractor is. And the clean up guy is going "Oh he went to so and so and won't be back tell next week."
Well, The way I have it figured is all I have to do is let my employee know that I am leaving and give him his job assignments for the week. That should buy me a few days. lol By the time the contractor figures out I'm gone, I'll be gone!
Well just got an update from Pilot. This is what he wrote...
Tony,
The main parts are coming along just fine. However we have hit a snag. In the pre-production units we had a problem with the driver side header cracking. Because of this we changed the materials and how they were made. This seemed to fix the problem, but it only seemed that way. It has happened again to my truck (Mainly due to hard launches). We are working on a fix for it now. I have a pretty good idea of what to do, and will test it on my truck with it on the lift. I will put the system in extreme situations to make sure it is going to work. Basically we are making a turbo brace with a Hiemjoint in it. This will allow you to adjust the pressure load on the turbo itself. Kinda loose for the street and then tight for the track. Plus it is going to be a really trick looking piece. I apologize for this and will find a way to make it up to you.

Darn, I was stoked about getting this soon. The good thing about all this is that they found this out before my unit was installed. And another good thing is they care about thier product and want the customer to be happy with it.
Darn right decent about it I would say. I know you were looking forward to getting it done but it's nice to have them find the problems before the install. Hang in there.
Yep, I'm pretty excited about getting it installed but am glad they are discovering problems now instead of later. I'd hate to blow a weld in the middle of a burn out contest. lol
