I have a 1994 Ford Bronco XLT, and the power door locks stopped working about 3 weeks ago, they only will work(lock/unlock) with the remote control, the inside buttons dont do anything? Comment please...
Sounds like a problem with the remote sensing unit. The locks would not work at all if it were a typical loss of ground or power feed. I have not actually inspected the wiring for the remote sensor but it would seem that somehow whatever bypass is used for the interior switches has failed.
Does the truck have a factory security system? If so, there may be a "lockout" relay that disables the lock switches when the system is armed. (The system I designed and put in my own truck is set up this way because its so easy to break into these trucks due to the location of the lock switches... right below the vent windows). It would make sense that this relay may not be switching back over even once the system is disarmed.
