clutch slippin

i have a 97 ranger 2wd 5spd i just replaced my clutch and now it is slipping . it all started that the clutch pedal would not move it was hard as a rock and the moter running it would go in and out of gear like there was no transsmision. so i replaced the clutch , i bought a kit with everything in it and it went in fine . it was perfect for about 2 days and i noticed it slipping. then i flushed the clutch fluid and was good for another 2 days ,and now i am right back where i started from??

any ideas

Did you replace the master cylinder. What did the complete kit entail? I am assuming it included a new slave cylinder and throwout bearing but I hate to assume.

it had a clutch plate,pressure plate,throw out berring , slave cylinder, and the alignment tool no i did not replace the master and it does not leak fluid at all

I had one go on my 96 Explorer back in 2000/2001. Like you I replaced everything only to find it still din't work and it turned out to be the master cylinder (which did not appear to be leaking). Hard to say without being there but if everything else is new, it's got to be the master cylinder of the hydraulic line down to it. Other possibility is a the slave cylinder you got was no good. I've had this happen as well, but my guess would be the master cylinder.
