the easiest way ive found to do this is to use something to heat the window (blow dryer, heat gun, or a warm day outside) and to start in one corner with a new straight razor blade and peel back careful dont cut youself or scratch the glass. when all the film is off use windex and soak remaining glue on glass the use razor to clean off.

I agree with pulling off the tint and clean up the glue with a razor blade and glass cleaner, but I don't know about the heat.

The heat helps release the adhesive.

Stick wet newspaper to the tint for a while before you start.

I found a tint removal kit at Advance Auto Parts by Gila brand...all it is is a spray bottle of some kind of adhesive remover and a straight-edge razor blade. It does work though, just take your time and don't get frustrated I used it on my wife's car. P.S. You do have to peel off the old film first.

Just use ammonia based windex. It will help eat up the tint glue also.
